Is this any good? I read the first chapter and decided it wasn't worth it.
Was I wrong?

Probably biased, since I'm part of the team who's scanlating the series, but I'd say it's worth it. If you're into some serious arcs, with a lot of (what the artist calls) slapstick comedy chapters in between these arcs, then this is a good manga to pick up. Bit of harem, bit of an OP MC, lotta romance and dumb jokes mixed in. Overall I'd say it's worth to pick up
