So, looked up the definition of sumaki and thought it was really odd that the term "capital punishment" appeared in a term related to mostly food. When I searched for a picture for the TL note page, I came across this website: https://tanteifile.com/baka/2008/08/22_01/index.html

It seems like every group so far has dropped this manga after a few volumes. Everyone probably has their own reasons for dropping it, but the fact that so many groups have dropped it leaves you wondering.

high school "battle" haram is a dying breed these days. it was already on its way out when isekai became oversaturated and now the genre feels super dated. really wish we got more stuff like this tho

In particular since it's done most of the development stuff with the characters, outside anything that could actually risk setting it at a path towards some kind of conclusion, and now it's spinning its wheels around random harem manga plots that will never lead to anything. When manga turns from character-based storytelling to event/plot-based storytelling the characters tend to flatten out and settle in their places.

Our translator happened to find that when doing research on sumaki as he was curious. It was a PSA from the tokyo police as far as I'm aware. Unfortunately the sumaki thing was made in the very early 2000's, so I don't think they took a video of it.
