Sorry for the low-quality grammar. Basically, our group is a bit tight since... lmfao this many people are on hiatus for some reason-

and we couldn't find a proofreader in time and our collaborator was getting kinda pissed-

We'll update the chapter to higher quality as soon as we can, but for now... deal with it.

ALSO! We are recruiting, Typesetters [ Extremely Urgent ] JTL / KTL / CTL [ Fairly Urgent ] and Redrawers [ Urgent ]. Thanks for bearing with us!

How convenient for the whole town to instantly turn into a ghost town so that nobody notices them shouting at each other while bashing their swords together in the middle of the night...

Am I the only one that is confused at where this fight is taking place? Like in some parts its seems like they are in the middle of a forest but the very next page they are fighting on roof tops in a city.

Btw, there are two instances of the "I" pronoun on page 9, but wouldn't "he" or a more general "one" be more appropriate if the scene is read as the protagonist thinking about the opponent's ability? Even if the protagonist happens to have the same ability. And there's no way we're switching to the enemy's internal monolog for a single page.

I just realized s(he) is essentially Jolyne. I mean uses string, resents father, what else?

@RogueKitsune - the fight is inside the city all the time. They just move between the burning hideout and the lumber yard where MC has a home field advantage.
Note that this is an elven city, so it has some trees even inside the city.
I don't remember where exactly lumber yard is, so they might have run out of the city and are now in the outskirts. But that's unlikely.

@Siikalahna - well, it's night, and all the curious people have already ran to put out the fire.

@nninja_strike getting cancelled means that the manga is being cancelled by the magazine that publish the manga and thus making it end the story, being dropped is something the scanlation team do, they drop translating the series, so the manga is still updating but with no translation
