That's why we can't have nice things! Jokes aside, I'd love to have more MC's like Gaikaku rather than the usual "good kid" and the now somewhat famous avenger type. Main characters specially male ones with a clear objective are rare since their objective is normally to be a hero, save the world or girl.

That's confirmed alright. But "his" ogres are also "weak ogres" just double a normal human's strength, rather than 10 times or so. And he's a biological expert, so he "knows" their weak spots and how to handle various types of humanoids.

That being said, in the novel

he's invited by a top elite ogre to a private room and come back alone an hour later, her having fainted or fallen asleep and everyone not in his knight order being surprised he's back, while his ogres are like really relaxed the entire time.
