How much you wanna bet that the Highlanders also manufacture all of the stone beasts or whatever? I mean, you can't sell weapons if there's no enemies to use them against, amirite? (Because if you're going to use some cliched storytelling, you might as well try to hit for the cycle!)
I will only be satisfied if she uses him as a practice dummy for 20-odd pages, then uses the Highlander base as a practice dummy for a few more chapters. Then maybe-- just maybe-- I'd be satisfied. It's not like she isn't insanely overpowered anyway. Hell, she could probably fart and knock that thing out of the sky.
We already know they're all scumbags, and really, watching someone powerful squirm under the thumb of a bunch of scumbags isn't really my thing, especially because a lot of manga authors will reuse the same scumbags over and over and over again. (Oh look, it's Naraku, and he has a new kind of barrier up. Oh, and just as it starts to collapse, here come those goddamn bees for the 907th time.) Seriously, spare me.
Unfortunately, I feel like, as others have already said, she's going to give him a small beating, he's going to run away, and we're going to get a really lousy muddy and unsatisfying story that drags on until it gets forgotten or axed, just like every other mediocre isekai out there.
Started off kinda interesting, but now I'm just disappointed.
Of course, I hope I get proven wrong, but I've read enough of this stuff to generally know where this is going. Sigh.
