Her personality makes this so enjoyable to read. She’s definitely knocked in the head and that is clearly a fatal flaw, but that adds so much conflict, tension, opportunities, and even comedy (and I assume more stuff I myself didn’t pick up on) to the story just by being a character trait. I love it when others do stuff like this. They can make great use of it and like here force a fight between two allies without it seeming forced. Though I do enjoy fluff, I’m not exactly looking for ordinary people living their ordinary lives in the ordinary world (and not like secret society or magic something is off, but legit “these people are straight up just me living life”). I like reading about the chuuni high schooler or the battle junkie in another world or whatever other crazy personality any author can come u with.

It's a terrorist vs freedom fighter perspective thing. The terrorist cell are definitely not good in that they have resigned to acceptable collateral damage to achieve their goal of independence from the highland. But a good chunk of highlanders are like Rahal who consider non highlanders second class and abuse their technological superiority. The incident basically pushed Leon off the edge from being a sympathizer to a collaborator. Of course it's not all evil, next arc they meet a highlander sympathetic to regular folk and later that there's factions within highlander society.

@Zxero I do read a lot, some would say too much, 330+ active follows on mangadex and a few dozen completed. I kinda got spoiled by the more sensible writers/artists and drop trashy stuff if they aren't interesting enough. Though I still like the odd trashy manga as long as they commit to their shtick and not take themselves too seriously. Hahaha

@flannan just as with context for wearing swimsuits, I get what you mean man. And hey she was formerly the sword king but embraced being kawaii. So yeah she may not mind it just like the other sword lady that is considered a "human-shaped" weapon. I mean only the most degenerate/cultured man would ever think to peek on their pantsu.

And then that nice highlander they meet next arc gets poisoned and turned into a monster and then she gets shrunk and becomes basically a pet who hangs out in Inglis' cleavage. It really bothers me that an innocent and intelligent person like her got turned into what seems to be just a brainless cute critter with no indication that she'll ever be turned back.
