Why do the other two girls even exist? 😂
They exist for drama specifically for the female lead. Because the main character has no real emotional attachment to them that was the entire point of the first chapter. The entire point is to make sure that the female lead does it try to date the main character for as long as possible even though they very clearly like each other.

Childhood friend's design needs her whole own series where she's making 2 minimum and 4 at most other girls suffer. Jesus.

This is a mess.
The past was rushed and horribly executed
It's so cartoonish it retroactively harms the prior relationship the main couple has, it's actually impressive that it could do that. They just needed to keep it more vague, or not have a paper thin cartoon villain that even if he did have further motivations has no time whatsoever to expand on them.

The witch didn't even get to express anything other than I died immediately after you did, I thought there would be her living for a while after and actually seeing how meaningless life is without him but she goes after him immediately. It's so strange.

I didn't. However i missed the part if it had any effect at all or was it just ramblings of a loser. Can you point out that part?
This is chapter 6, not 106. We don't really know much of anything yet. What we do know is that "Vile Sage" was afraid of what killing her at this point might cause.

This is cope. If they wanted to leave the story with bits missing they could have, we got a clear order of events. No one seemed to be acting or to have deeper hidden emotions than what they presented.

Even if later on the author was to say actually there was a deep complex set of motivations to the currently paper thin villain and even the MC and witch before they got reincarnated not displaying that we're missing any of that context in the flashback we did get is poor storytelling.

If the mangaka gives me a story of their past lives (The sleeping together panel made me interested (They were cute)), instead of this mess, I will be the happiest person ever.
Also them just catching the witch and then smh the witch casts the most powerful spell (even if she is in chains (then whey didn't she save him bru)) is just purest form of deux ex machina
