Not great, but not bad either.

I tell you why :
That is because this series is too childish and suits better for reader under 15 and such.
Invasion, alienate, anti villain, hero of justice, or among those lines...everything is for kids.

But Amano-sensei did a good job in its theme. Even though didn't meet my expectations.

@goronyanpai I mean... it's a shounen series and all. Fifteen and under is pretty much the target audience. I get where you're coming from either way though, there are a lot of series out there meant for that age group that were so good they became more like an all ages thing, yeah?

Shounen comes in various forms. It can be childish, full of naivety, normal type, and vice versa.
One of demographic which is very flexible after Seinen. Although from the term it is intended for teenagers, there are standards that aren't visible which depend on the context given.

This is one of the best example for under 15 and such..
But, there are also certain series that are specifically readable for 17 and above.

I can't say for sure but, Shounen has a wide range of themes.
