To be clear, there are three types of Cyclopes in Greek mythology:
There's the first Cyclopes, brothers of the Titans and the Hecatonchires and sons of Uranus and Gaia; they make Zeus' lightning bolts.
The second Cyclopes, which are the beastly beings that appear in Homer's works (i.e. Polyphemus).
The third Cyclopes, which were the purported builders of the "Cyclopean" walls at Mycenae, Tiryns, and Argos, which are historical sites still standing today.
