I guess the author got such a strong backlash, after he fucked up with that NTR plot point, that he didn't even try with the last chapters. Too bad start of the manga was great and than he had to ruin it. I remember what a huge nose dive mangas rank got after the translation of that chapter.

Read the Wn/Ln a long time ago, but the basic jist was that Cyrl and his "elite" troops use gorilla tactics to set up ambushes to whittle down the troops and cut off any reinforcements and their supply train. It gets to the point they dont even have the option to retreat, because in route they raid/tax every village they encounter to the point most of them will starve. This in turn leads to Imperials loosing control of the territory and making further attempts to retake the elven village impractical.

iirc there are couple more novel volumes and stand-alone secondary stories set in the future.

Chapter 11, when MC cheated on his girlfriend with a cat girl like it's something normal and after that she forgives him and even asks him for forgiveness, like WTF. And that is after chapters where he declared that she is the only one for him. If the author wanted to create a harem manga, there are much better ways to do this.

This really was an awful trash of a novel-promo and until now, I still can't believe that this was created by the same author of Redo of Healer and Strongest Assassin, but I guess this can also be attributed to the mangaka's failure to make it more compelling for it just to be a 15-chapter manga title.

Yeah, I started reading this when it was still being updated by the earlier translator but it probably got dropped due to its own irregular releases.
You could actually feel the mangaka's own declining effort over this, but retrospectively looking at it, given the art style and everything else, they really did not seem to have put that much effort on this except on the first few chapters.
