I feel is refreshing to know that the Empress is indeed a big boss, she was keeping a low profile and I didn't know exactly what to think about her (ofc there's still many doubts and I'm still worried about what happened to the original Yan An's father). Also, a part of me feels that Bai Yu and Little White are part of this "Night Raven" -lmao, forgive my simple-minded ass but in that image, they look exactly like them +plus that girl who idk who she is-. XD
Edit: Oh, and thinking more deeply about it, I think it may be possible. I mean, if these guys are supposed to be under the Empress' orders, I guess it'd make sense for someone as smart and witty as Little White to stay inside of Yan An's palace taking care of the security of her harem (kinda, lol) and it could be a good reason as to why the Empress was against the marriage between the former Yan An's and Bai Yue, idk idk.
This chapter has been my favorite so far, tnksm for working on it guys >u< Fei Yue (my best boy and my no.1) and Yan An deserve all the happiness in the world, I got so emo and soft when I saw Fei Yue crying. I love how respectful and considerated is Yan An and I'm so proud that he's ready to leave the past, it seems he'll finally start working on overcoming his fears and pain. :")

Ah, don't tell me Qian An won't enter the harem, haha )": as far as I know the story hasn't ended so how do u know? Well, I wouldn't be surprised since he's been like that from the very beginning. I wouldn't mind that ending even if he's my 2nd favorite in the whole story because that's been his wishes and essence after all (I'm still sad tho, haha :c).
Another thing, I don't think Fei Yue is a bad man to be with and he's my fav lol, but since I love all of them I feel I can enjoy any ending /as long as Yan An won't come back to her original world without her men because that'd be hella unfair/.
In defense of Fei Yue, I don't see what's wrong with him suffering a lot, the boy has good reasons to feel that way and it's not like that's the only thing he does. He's the perfect hubby for her and she has recognized that part of him a lot. She's really proud of him for the way he is and acts and because he can understand his role perfectly and support Yan An's actions and desires. He's the most caring man, he loves her deeply, he's the one that will always be for her without expecting anything more than her presence and a smile, he's that type of guy and Yan An loves that as much, like many other readers-.
It doesn't matter how much people try to say he's betraying Yan An (when in reality she knows everything and she knows he's a difficult situation), he always puts his wife well-being first and I'm sure that even if he gets into risky situations, at the end he'll always care for Yan An more than himself. I just trust his character in that way because he has shown how real he is about her and all the pain he's in.
I don't get why we have to judge him so harshly when he wasn't involved in all that mess because of his own will. He's been forced over and OVER AGAIN just because as u said, several people are threatening him and wants to use him. Is that his fault? Does he need to feel bad about that? Does he need to kill himself because he's been incapable of solving that situation? Does he not deserve Yan An because he's not a powerful military or something similar? Nah, not everyone is the same, people have different capabilities and ways to approach issues; the only thing I desire for him is to find a solution according to his own capabilities f this situation. I don't expect him to be someone super flashy or to do something extremely powerful since he's not like that. He's a man that cares and shows his strong points differently. I'll be happy if he can be honest about everything with Yan An and confront his mother and that's it, but ofc as smart as he is, he knows he can't do that yet because it'd bring confrontations from his mother and the 2nd princess to Yan An and that would put her in risk.
Again, he's been in touch with the 2nd Princess just because of his mother and he can't break those ties that easily because he has no real power (no money, no military power, no intellectual/influence power, no religious power) and Yan An is not yet the Crown Princess, nor she has everything ready to stand over her other 2 sisters. Fei Yue will only have real power if he becomes the next Empress and Yan An the next Emperor. If he were in that situation already and he'd continue doing that, then I'd call him betrayer, but not at this point when he's the victim. He can't defy anyone without having a strong backup or plan b,c,d and he has none. I don't know why people are so harsh on him. Yan An knows all that, she knows his situation is complicated so instead of forcing him to talk or act, she's respecting him and that's why she's giving him time to figure it out his own way. I just loove that!
Idk but I feel like you're expecting Fei Yue to be and do, some things that wouldn't make sense for him, as well as ignoring his good and strong points (he has them), and just because of that, you're taking him as someone who doesn't deserve to be with her but I don't think so. So far, we can't tell that about anyone of her men. All of them have complex situations and their good points. All are awesome IMO! uwu
And yeah, he has his wife's love now, but with the past Yan An, he had nothing but fear. I totally understand him (especially in a matriarchal society where men are taught to be passive and they're just worthy if they're married under a powerful woman. Under those circumstances, ofc the man wouldn't know what to do and I can empathize with that). He's been just treated as a mere pawn and all his suffering is the way he's paying for being involved in that chaos, I don't see why he'd need to pay more. His mom is not him and his mom's deeds are not his, she should be beheaded tho.

@AlessaO
interesting comment, I hope you're right, I also think the former Yan An needs to pay a price for what she did (I mean, she changed bodies with the current Yan An and it doesn't make sense for me that one will do all the work when the other will just come back and easy peasy, someone fixes all my mistakes and I get the cake, that'd be super unfair)
@HobisFlower
After reading your comment I thought on Bai Yu's pov. Like, imagine seeing your lover/former lover who lost her memory in the arms of the man she hated the most. If Bai Yu didn't betray her or was one of the victims here as well, I think I'll be happy if he joins the harem at some point. But despite that, I still think this is a situation that can't be helped since from Yan An's pov, it doesn't really matter.
Yan An's is a whole new and different person now, she doesn't have to share the same feelings as the previous one and we can't blame her for that. What she currently knows is that she loves Fei Yue and Fei Yue loves her, that's her priority on a personal level, and the rest (like other people) doesn't matter. She doesn't owe to Bai Yu more than courtesy and maybe hearing his story so she can decide from now on what to do (it may be sad, but we can't blame Yan An for that). Also, from a logical perspective, it wouldn't make any sense for Yan An to care or trust a man that she doesn't know anything about and that is extremely suspicious since no real information of him can be found.
It makes all the sense for Yan An to love Fei Yue and holding him as the most important one, not others. He was the one who's been with her from the very beginning, caring and cheering for her without expecting anything (his only selfish moment was when he destroyed Bai Yu's letter but aside from that, there's been none). When she transmigrated into that new world, the only person who was nice and cared for her was Fei Yue; he was the only light between all those scoundrels in her harem (who he had to pacify because the former Yan An was a lustful woman). The only reason why the new Yan An could make his plans achievable was because Fei Yue took proper care of the mansion and even the former Yan An would have already lost everything (her life, her harem, and her mansion) if it wasn't for him.
He was the only one who was with her despite everything, always believing in her even if he wasn't capable to foresee all her plans, he had no doubts, he taught her about this new place and he's been doing everything he can for her, always putting her first before him, ALWAYS. Not even Qian Han or Butterfly would have accepted her in the past, not as Fei Yue and definitely not when she had no power/ no morals/ no money/ no influence, but Fei Yue did it and without expecting anything (he didn't even expect her love and yet he cared for her, he took care of her mansion, her harem and he was in everything he could be of help). She had to conquer all her man but Fei Yue was the only unconditional one from the very beginning. IMO he's an awesome hubby and lover.
I do agree Hiding Bai Yu's identity+destroying his letter wasn't right or the best, but tbh as I said, I think it's ok. Yan An has been asking him to show his true feelings for a while now, to be selfish, jealous, etc. and he did so. Again, it wasn't the best, but I understand Fei Yue's pov as well. If I do remember correctly, Fei Yue also said in the past that Bai Yu made the princess suffer or something similar, so even without Fei Yue's existence, it's not like I can be entirely on Bai Yu's side since we don't know much about him.
Lastly, I don't fully agree with u about the Fei Yue's betrayal aspect and Yan An's actions, simply because Fei Yue is not acting like that because he wants it (he's been forced by his mother to stay connected to the 2nd Princess and since he has no power he can't do much about it) and because Yan An is not some kind of blind and innocent character. If she were a character who's being played by everyone because of her good intentions and naivety or that holds no power or connection with the outside world, I'd agree with u (about feeling betrayed, etc.) but that's not the case. Yan An is a powerful woman who's everything but naive, she's aware of EVERYTHING and she can do so since she's worked hard to make information networks (if that makes sense) in her country and the palace. She can take decisions without letting herself entangled blindly in black or white situations and that's why she doesn't reject Fei Yue and on the contrary, she embraces him. I completely get it and I like it, it feels like she's a mature and smart character.

@Momokann
thank you!!!! Someone finally said it. Just because Yan An's actions are not pleasing everyone it doesn't mean she's stupid. On the contrary, she's extremely smart and aware of the situation. Why is so wrong for her to ignore Bai Yu's feelings when she doesn't know anything about him? It doesn't matter if she knows that he was the original Yan An's former lover, she's not that girl, she's a whole different person now. Feelings, thoughts, and relationships CAN'T remain the same. And yeah, Fei Yue isn't suspicious neither in Yan An's eyes, because even if he gets entangled to something fishy, she knows he won't betray. He has shown his true self to Fei Yue already so she knows what to expect.
Fei Yue's feelings for her are clear as water and she knows all the mess situation he's in, that's why she's giving time to deal with that, just as she needs time to become the future Emperor. It's not like Fei Yue can fix everything just because he wants, he has no power, no backup, and nothing in reality despite his surname, that's why he can't break up his connection with his mom and the 2nd princess so easily. If he were the Empress, then he would have real power to do something about them.
And oh, so that was a spoiler from Bai Yu's situation? Was he a victim as well or something? owo
