The original has "Lohikäärme" written out as pictured, with jp beside it reading "great dragon stone statue." We decided not to edit out or change any finnish words that appear in the story.

Saw it coming from a mile off (the narrative pointers are all there) but it STILL managed to hit me in the feels at the end. Goodness it's a lovely first chapter though, can't wait for this one to get all juicy and angsty

Aino is a swordswoman, so she is a definite she. Iro is androgynous but she wore skirt so I guess we can treat this as GL.

Looking at the adult version, if I hadn't read the TL's comment about the name, I'd assume she's a he. And in the volume I only found 1 sentence with a clear gender pronouns, and it's not the questionable one. Even the actual synopsis didn't specify that. Might have to wait for the 2nd volume.
