Take it from someone working on a Streets PhD:
Whores vehemently abhor any beta imbecile that falls for them and concedes. No kind-heartedness will ever work with them, since it's a sign of weakness for them, and so they'll mercilessly use and backstab any male deemed soft. It's almost guaranteed they'll fall in love with scum that treats them like dirt, and they will never admit that that's the quality they look for in men, not even in their minds, because they really don't know it themselves. They'll invariably convince themselves they simply fell in love with such scum and that's it, and will stay with him as long as he can be considered a strong, unyielding male, even if she ends up being physically abused regularly.
Reading this manga, the contrast with reality was so intense that:
1. it's evident the author doesn't have a fucking clue, at all.
2. I felt compelled to write this... may enlighten someone...
