Some of the lack of comprehension from Metis seems a little strange, given the grand schemes definitely relied upon at least an intellectual understanding of human behavior.

And why embed humans with some weird convoluted 'kinetic -> electrical' convertor?
Does Metis know nothing of solar, wind, tidal, and geothermal energy?

Also funny to frame those hypothetical cities as "completely equal"; an explicit hierarchy between Metis-aligned "AI" administration and the Human population - even if their material conditions are vastly improved - is still inequality.

Metis is gonna fucking cry when she discovers the irrationality of mankind. Making a perfect world were all needs are met and it still wouldn't work. Removing the freedom and humanity from the equation is doom to fail any real tests. Not to mention the stupidity, greed and egotistical aspects as well O7

Thanks for the chapter ♥️ don't overwork yourself

Don't be so sure of your idea. irl no such condition have happen yet to prove "fail any real test".
i hear about this in fiction all the time, and the way it convince it self "it won't work" is also stupid, every single time.
and, have you ever think, human, in different condition, can adap and evol ¯\(ツ)/¯

"The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money", here all that is solved.
even in the mouse social, it only meet a condition of rich society, nothing is control, space issue are not solved once overcrowded, distribution are not solved...etc

“From the new world” giving me the flashbacks to another post-apocalyptic utopian scifi involving psychic powers. Honestly I should probably just go read that.

I am a little confused as to why Metis is being this clueless, but I guess it’s a classic trope. Haven’t got long to wrap this all up now.
