metis is wrong, i think. erio's sentimentality isn't the only reason it's experiencing all this. it's been developing that kind of emotion all on its own by deepening its bonds with those who came to matter to it in its new life. by distancing its identity from those feelings and attributing them to erio though, it makes it psychologically impossible for it not to return the body experience to erio. though, erio is sure to be something a bit different than she used to be after what their newly shared mind has put itself through
