Actually, that's the joke. This manga is actively parodying the brain-rot subgenre as a whole, even going as far as showing scenes from the game dev's executive boardroom with the director going broke for brain-rot because brain-rot is what sells. (In fact, we saw this recently in the previous chapter, pages 7-10.)

Which, honestly, is the one thing that keeps me reading this title. Knowing it's a parody of something that's already stupid makes this peak, and it reeks of that same kind of savage parody humor we all love Monty Python for.
