The plan was to make the alien drop it's own guard and use it up close so he wouldn't risk missing and hitting the wall of the ship which they all agreed is stupid.

At the same time the MC having the ability to see the future like that also ruins any joy in him hunting since he will know when he can die....it's like if someoje autosaves and auto loads the game to avoid losing or taking damage

But he did manage to hit it three times with his common shitty pistol (Maybe because his precognition bullshit didn't trigger with the weak pistol).
Also, making giant alien thing run at you seems a bad idea yk. But he sure had the balls to try it.

Yea that does make sense why only when our MC was gonna charge that the ability activated since a shot from that is an insta kill.

Well it's already displayed a lot of intelligence on killing them...so play on its cockiness and make sure you have a sure shot to end the fight even if you have to take a hit
