I think it's possible but I'm unsure if Hontza is supposed to be part of the little people. I mean, maybe they've formed their own culture and this is part of it--but I don't think so. I think it's a byproduct of how their world works. The populace imagined something that would guide souls to the land of the dead, and so it was. I think that everything in the Sidh is the byproduct of general beliefs/imagination. We'll have to see if "souls" become relevant in the future.I am curious... if Hontza is of the same "race" as the "little people".
At this point, we have Mir and Daemo as clear examples of the "little people", but... Mir is a half-breed, he clearly has a "fluid" existence, with the ability to shapeshift, which obviously comes from his father.
Daemo can change too, and we see the obvious differences in her form, there is much more "fluidity" to her body, and her ability to "drink worlds" is a whole thing, but I won't stay on that for now, I will leave it for when we get more details.
Point is... "fairies" in myth always have changing forms, but Hontza feels different from Daemo, but Mir said the "little people" were just one "race", there was not the variety of beings Seth heard in folk tales.
My best guess, if Hontza is "little people"... their form is adapted to the task they have taken, guiding the souls of people in the next step of their journey.
Curious too, if Mir was born at this point... I can't say exactly why... but I don't think so, this story feels like it may happened a little before.
Thank you very much! We all love Radiant, so we appreciate fans like you! I like to read all your comments after every chapter.Gauwal, Name, Asterisk, the whole team of the Artemis Institute, again... thank you for your effort, being able to read this story is truly a privilege, and your work in allowing that is much appreciated.
Sorry for taking up your time, but if possible, answer me this... what is the status of the main story?
It has been some time since the last volume, and I searched around a bit, but as far as I could find, there wasn't anything new, but the world of Radiant clearly is VERY popular... two spin-offs of this HIGH quality... so happy Tony's world is receiving its due recognition.
Edit... almost forgot to mention... THOSE COLORED PAGES ARE SO AWESOME, Tony's coloring style tickles my brain, it has perfect diversity in colors and brightness without losing shade and shadow.
It perfectly guides you to the understanding that this is a world of beauty and wonder... but of hardships and troubles.
That's right. He don't understand what she's really trying to do.Layamon is an example of admiration without understanding, turning into obsession.
He has created in his mind a narrative that at face value is beautiful... but his juvenile understanding already shows he doesn't have the maturity to understand Bard's actions.
Giving away your youth like that... AT ELEVEN... poor boy has latched in desperation to someone, something, to validate his views of life.
I had hoped this would have taken time... but it is clear the zealotry that would give birth to the Inquisition was born much earlier than I had thought, in the heart of a scarred boy too smart and too young to truly understand the weight of what he desires.
