At first I was like wtf are these kids talking about? they act as if they are stuck in this world and can't get back to earth.....

Then I realized they are the native humans of this planet and NOT from earth LMAO :02:

Sometimes its hard to keep track on who are the school classmates and who aren't :aquadrink:

God the writing is going downhill. It always was pretty black n white but this is bordering comical evil. Maybe the author will deliver a good explanation as to why they are that deranged but I somehow doubt it since it's not the first time. This is going beyond my ability to suspend my disbelief - humans are retardedly evil in this world and it makes little sense.

I want to say that you are right, but history has more than enough examples of people killing people because of fanaticism... and I've seen even dumber reasons than what we see in the manga.

If you think about it, what MC did quite similar to what Sword of Courage did all this time.
Eliminate the strongest threat before they have eyes on you.

Is it the presentation that makes the Sword of Courage's actions comical evil?
Because there are any number of evil and genocidal acts throughout history that are just as bad, if not worse, for similar reasons, if any.
So, the difference between realistic evil and comical evil is the presentation, rather than the actions?
And if so, what about the presentation makes them comical?

Adolf Hitler is the best example of this. There's nothing comical about this man.

So many people here complaining about how it's so comically evil and unrealistic and I find this carthatic.

People like this exist in real life. I have been talked down to and talked about by people who talk in a manner exactly like this. There are scumbags you can find on the Internet will talk just like this non-ironically that you hope they were just doing edgy memes/jokes but no, actual racists and bigots who genuinely wish death and suffering on others.

An ex-friend of mines I used to know from school many years ago was with her daughter (who was like 3-4 at the time) was once verbally insulted and physically assaulted by a racist in broad daylight, with "comments" about her race and for her and her daughter "go back to their country" (both were born in the country by the way, they never immigrated).

And both me and my old friend are Asians. Black people got it even worse than us on average.

This is carthatic because this is a fictional fantasy universe where I can see justice is carried out, unlike reality.

...well, that hatred was fanatical to say the least. Looks like there's more then just looking down on the Demi-humans.
Very easy to cast berserk on people filled with propaganda in real life too.

Combine that with paralyze they will bleed to death. Make sure they don't bite their tongue.

Oh and keep their ears.

Sure, that's the most common one. But I'm also including events and groups like Unit 731, the Khmer Rouge killing anyone wearing glasses, the Red Guard and the Cultural Revolution, the Bosnian War, lynchings in America, and pogroms in Europe (particularly where Jews were rounded up and massacred as spreaders of plague).

And, of course, the British East India Company. Who had to have their evils toned down in fiction otherwise they'd be considered too evil. And don't forget the Dutch East India Company; they've got their own ledgers.

The goddess was already mentioned as brainwashing people… I guess we are seeing the worst cases right now… probably the same kind of groups that she used in the past to feed monsters to make them human faced... I guess killing them right now will prevent at least one future human faced to be created.

And yes, my IRL friends and I have a discord server, and at one point we had to ban a couple of “friends” because of that exact kind of behavior.
Let’s just say, we all cut them out of our lives, not just from that discord.

If you think this is unrealistic, then you're living in a bubble. This is current affairs. And when people engage in large scale hatred, humor/mockery is a frequent part of it.

All large successful civilizations have words which equate to "barbarian". E.g. "gaijin". And you'll see mockery as well. E.g. ever notice the preponderance of clownish characters with freakishly cleft in chins in Japanese manga. E.g. that kid that Saitama meets in One Punch Man. Western world: cleft chin is pretty normal. Japan: Cleft chin is freaky and to be mocked. Or notice that when Japanese is Isekaied into some other world, then 2/3 of the time they end up introducing rice, miso and sushi? Insular much?

Looking down on, even loathing people from other regions is quite normal in the world.

…the MC is doing that thing where he is drawing out the sentencing. This is dangerous. They have like 5 other people in their group and the two strongest are there. He shouldn’t have even heard them out, the only ones he should have even maybe listened to an explanation from are the leaders.

Taking more time to accomplish this is just going to allow for more time for the evil group to track down Seras and potentially have a hostage. Or MC getting snuck up on.

Hopefully it’s not what I’m thinking but the group has numbers, its probably not going to go smoothly.

Thanks for the translation!!
