@Wolvenworks It was still teamwork though and they were enchanted from Wendy's enchantments at least PoF is hugely nerfed in comparsion to the original
As long the important fights is not affected then everything is fine

Doom's hax power was Strong but his stats was very weak. he's mostly the weakest of them all.

I think you're right or at the very least mashima only looks over the plot and gives edits

I don't bother plot holes that this arc is full of, but this chapter capitalizes common problem with Shonen. Side characters has good powers but are weak if they don't go relevant thanks to popularity polls.
Power scaling is hard when series continues and gives named characters that are on background. Their usefulness is usually minimal, even if this kind of nakama power is always nice to read.

i actually like this kind of battle when side characters shines and get to know their power more. but it sad tho, this only happened like 1 in a 50+ chapters .
