This arc is all about the problem that previous saint becomes the next witch. Easy for us to forget, but That's completely effed up!

The endlessly tragic nature of the game (especially no good ending for Eterna) is what's driving Nito/Elrise. Nito/Erise want to give the two of them a good ending (and what the heck, might as well save the other pretty girls too, and if some dudes get save... sure, that's fine, I guess).
