Kinda strange how nonchalant he is about dying and his other self basically sucking the soul from her other self.

Not that particularly surprising in my opinion. There are plenty of people in this world that have nothing to live for, no reason to exist. If their measly, worthless life can bring happiness to many people, then they're more than happy to sacrifice it.

I don't know if anyone has said this yet but having yourself be split into two and you end up having a conversation with yourself as the story progresses is a rather unique premise that I've never seen explored before.

I'm good either way. At least the manga is generally built for the half chapters, compared to some series that will just cut randomly.
