@Keansor — Since the author has stated his intentions at the end of the Manga, it's pretty obvious what both he and others intend with their audience: to twist them into things they are not. Even the very plea of "Please Awaken" ... for what? Is the average guy's best friend going to turn into a sharp-toothed gal? ... in another world? ... after having met a floating naked girl?
Some manga aim at telling a story where the MC & partners find themselves on a path of self-improvement. Shiro & Log Horizon; Uesugi Fuutarou & The Quintessential Quintuplets; Natsuki Subaru & Re:Zero to name just a few. But here we have the intentions of a writer who wants to "awaken" bizarre desires in people. Way. To. Go. I'm sure that could be revealed of writers from many of the toxic genres that exist.
I love a good story. Love a good romance. Laugh out loud at a good comedy. But many writers are putting pure trash under these titles, hoping the subjective side of the objective title will shield them from scrutiny.
