@Elmithian While I completely agree on that being quite an interesting experiment, if it were an unexpected switch I wouldn't want that to happen "IRL". So much things to do. Just having to change ID card is already a pain in the ass big enough that I don't wanna. And there are other documents that'd become invalid. Don't wanna.
Getting fitting clothes would be an additional expense. Whole manstruation process would be both new experience and additional expense. And if I didn't plan for it, that's an issue. I'm a student, I don't have enough time to work full-time and stock the money up. Explaining situation to everyone I know that I meet would be annoying though I could get some fun out of it.

Not gonna lie, the prospect is tempting. Especially if I was guaranteed a pretty/sexy body, the female privileges would be awesome.

To comment on Tachibanas question. Essentially, gender is greatly influenced by the body. Trans people wouldn't need hormone replacement and body mutilation if they could just switch it all mentally.

I have enough kind hearted relatives that the additional costs could be largely negated by their aid.

Personally I would see it as a plus to be able to properly roleplay female characters as a GM/DM/etc rather than have to go "She says that" on top of it being non-silly playing a female player character in other tabletop sessions.

Menstruation would be a pain though. But frankly, I would just consider this a new run at life, granted the complete gender swap female body was at the very least as good looking as my male one (slightly above average, if I bothered to try to look good).

Honestly, masturbation would he around 6th or 7th in my lines of priorities. Though I wonder what you meant by "masturbation potential" I mean, I don't looke at myself in a mirror and get off like that and I suspect you wouldn't feel attraction to your own body after a while... though i guess women have way larger field of "masturbation aids" than guys do for now.

@Elmithian By masturbation potential I meant all the different "kinds" of masturbation i.e. tools and actions that you can't really do as a male. Using yourself as a fap material didn't even cross my mind, otherwise I'd have address that too. I don't really know how'd that pan out in the beginning while my mind gets used to the different body. Image of myself in my head is still 165cm tall even though I'm 186cm for the last 12 years. And if my behaviour remained the same or similar, I'd be too proud to ask or accept financial aid. "I'll be fine, lemme handle this" mentality. Tip&tricks are different kind of story and would ask and appreciate that.
Roleplay potential would definitely be amazing with experiencing stuff from both sides of a coin. Sounds like a loads of fun.

When I thought about whether I'd rather get my gender swapped or been born as a female, I'd still got for gender swap. I value what I went through too much to discard it, even shitty parts of my life. EVEN THOUGH I'd probably have easier and more fun/enjoyable childhood and if anything I wouldn't be bullied in elementary, at least not for a same reason.

All in all, FUN.
