Reading older manga is cumbersome.
When you read ongoing series you just tap on the follows tab and see all the updates - that’s great, fast and convenient.
But when you have a few older, completed series you also read then going back to them is very inconvenient and requires navigating every time. It’s especially irritating when you follow a lot of rarely updated, ongoing series, so you have to look for that old title every time in that large pile of content in the reading category.
A simple favorites tab would allow for quick access to any series the user wants to have there - it would be a flexible feature. In my case it would be for easier access to a few older mangas I currently read, but maybe others would use it for other reasons.
A custom catalog feature will also help (although I’m not a fan of burying these things in a menu), but favorites on the frontpage would be even better and would be intuitive and straightforward for every new user.
