Honestly I stopped taking most of the comments in this section seriously when I saw people complaining about a main character not starting off over powered and bitching about him losing fights while he’s still in experiences. Not to mention that one guy who was complaining about the narrative not telling us ahead of time that this would have slice of life elements despite the manga having a slice of life tag. Don’t even Get me started on the people who complain about the pacing not being as fast as Black Clover and Demon Slayer then proceed to FORGET IMPORTANT BUILD UP MOMENTS. The author literally can’t win with these people.

@shinratensei16 thank you for the explanation. I don't know why but in my mind the hospital scene was after the exams. Having the exams in the middle we have a more contextualised time scale.
As for the buffed you are right, just makes you appreciate the authors ability to grasp the plot with the drawings.

Honestly yeah the biggest change is on his strenght. He is massively strong now, tho this manga is very fantastic with it's fights and the strenght of it's characters, specially considering male and female are virtually the same in regards to strenght, speed and the like.

I'm loving the boyfriends right now, they just love each other so much... They even measure their strength on the same days

I also love the set-up of the twins asking the stats. The first two replies are so detailed, listing each number for each exercise in such a polite organised manner. Then when they ask Ji-tae with no hesitation he drops the fat 600 on both of them, instantly dwarfing both of the twins' numbers, who very clearly train really hard on their own iron-pumping.

Also seeing the way Maria and Ji-tae's relationship has changed is breaking me so much...

Was there a timeskip? That would make the "sudden" change of Ji-Tae more understandable and, above all, a big 3 lift total of 600kg... without a timeskip (this being just after the exams) it would be at most six months worth of training... but well, who knows if get is using juice...

In the days after his breakdown, I imagine he has developed a persona that stems from his now greater resolve to find his sister which is to fight more efficiently by blocking out any unnecessary emotions.

This change isn't "hinted" adequately. He cries about his sister and his he ghates fighting and now suddenly he's a psycho? School shooter ass writing.
What? There's lit hints at chapter 2, chapter 9, chapter 19, chapter 27, etc. The illiteracy is through the roof.

So...other than Ji tae here acting like an edgelord now...We have gangs and adult men that Ji Tae can sufficiently fight. as if the people in the fight class are way more dangerous apprently and still a hurdle to reach. We havent gone into detail about his capabilities since his fight with that choi guy. its like after that...the Author is speedrunning MC's growth in terms of his skills.

I dont get how people are defending this abrupt change. its fuckin abrupt. EVEN IF you pay attention to the damn story. We're all used to seeing how a character goes from "innocent" to "crazy" and writers usually do that smoothly. but our Author over here right after having shown Ji Tae at his breaking point, he immediately just breaks, Off screen. its not good storytelling to do this off screen. We want to care and understand his state of mind and how it came to this. its the Journey, not the destination.
