@wewedamdam You're damn right about that one. But IMHO there is a difference between a full on battle shounen with energy balls (which are more and more destructive than the last one I'm sure, but always just create scrapes for some reason) and nonexistent anatomy (the thing keeping you together is grit --things like bodily support structures are just a measure of it...) and something that at least seriously tries to adhere to physics. There is always some reality bending going around, but it's fine. What matters is how well you execute it. Here, the lack of sex based matchmaking is done fairly well, as it just let's it be a part of the setting and consistently goes with that, but you can't try to include things like weight and reach and realistic fulcrum usage (pretty much martial arts in a nutshell) only to throw it out of the window the very next panel. And shamelessly commenting on it like it's no big deal, no less.
But to be honest, all these particular tropes are pretty much ubiquitous in everything coming from the general area, so it just should be expected.
