Man why does this have to play out like real life. You aren't strong enough to carry out personal vigilance, and you're punished despite any context of bullying or defense of others. Above all it hurts so much to see him apologize, when he gave up his pride for the best and most logical outcome, to have it mean little to nothing.
Pleas I want to see this guy's ass turned to grass in the future.
Also I'm pretty intrigued to where the photographer fatty's character development will go in the future? The haircut seemed pretty significant

So the Sunbae was indeed an asshole like Tae-young told Baram and Shinhamim when they met him... Guess we're moving past the bullying arc into the Maria haters vs Maria fans plot and how Ji-tae is all caught up in the middle of it. Nice to see Ok Dong glowing up into a decent respectable nerd lmao.

@korvas the MC wasn't punished. The girl(?) who knocked the bully out was the one removed from the ranking match for the semester, which honestly isn't much of a punishment. Ok-Dong also was punished for photographing the fight class without consent. Also MC losing gives the MC an actual reason to get stronger now. Up until now he was slaking on actual fighting skill, he only really gave it his all on defense, now he knows defense isn't enough in the real world and he has to train to beat people. Like you see now he's bulking up to get more power, and no longer hesitating on throwing punches.

@0takuDragonSlayer @WillLi a bit of both tbh. He has a natural ability to dodge which gives him a defensive edge but that doesn't mean much if he isn't able take advantage of it when attacking his opponents. He has the flying armbar that Maria taught him but he needs more to be a real threat. This is where the training to hone his skills part comes into place.

The fighting spirit part is also true but Ji-tae also needed to find the balance between being calm during a fight and using his aggression. He used to lack fighting spirit but when he got pissed and found it he went overboard and messed up his wrist, which gave him a bigger handicap in a fight where the odds were already against him.

Now that everything has settled he seems more focused and driven to improve and become a better fighter.

Wow, you really put that into some pretty well thought out words.
Yeah, that sums it up. IRL, to be a truly top tier fighter you need to be well rounded mentally and physically so this was a good lesson for him. Plus the build up and pay off was absolutely perfect imho
