I love how things are heating up with each new chapter. Thinks aren't looking good for Ji-tae tho: Win or have both Maria and yourself beg on your knees. She's really putting some pressure on his shoulders. This is gonna be a tough fight nonetheless.

He's fighting one of the top 4 fighters from his year. It's not supposed to be an easy fight at all smh. This ain't Solo leveling where the plot is an excuse to make the MC look "cool". Him struggling against far more experienced opponents is the whole point. @Xeredge

Eh, not really. Everyone he has confronted so far has been a dick in their own right and/or had the option of walking away.
They weren't backed into a corner like Kenichi Shirihama was in his story. There wasn't anything on the line that required them to give into the taunts or offer. Hell, they aren't even honor bound warriors. These are practically the same idiots who get put on world star because they think they're hot shit and can't get laid out. This is why literally every good martial arts teachers tells people to avoid street fights. Nothing good comes out of it.

Yep exactly! as commenters said there is no rules in street fights. Hopefully Author picks this up and do a comparison more between a martial arts fight with rules in the ring, VS street fights with no rules. and Maria would teach more to Ji Tae about how to deal in street fights THEN in the future bring those ideas in the ring.


but this is a bit too beyond Ji tae's league. this playboy guy is a top A rank right?! I feel like Ji tae should've started with one of those assholes that Cha so wol hangs out with. that jang guy. they're both on the same level in the fight class rankings. both lost in the first round and didnt fight to rank up their place after that.
