I really should start playing Echoes, but I've yet to finish Conquest, still haven't played Revelation, and have yet to play through all the DLC since Awakening...

Thanks for the uploads! I've been a fan for almost 10 years and it's nice to see the series grow to what it is.

The only reason why I keep all those duplicate Lon'qu around. Vantage is a pretty neat skill to have.

According to some anon, the Fire Emblem Heroes Official Line account posts new chapters a day early and have lower image quality as compared to what's on the official comic website. Hence there's a "v2" on Chapter 11.

Evasion is one of the most important mechanics in the Fire Emblem games.

Unlike Heroes, which is all about Attack and Defense (and Speed), the main Fire Emblem games also have Accuracy and Evasion.
Some tiles improve a character's evasion rate, most commonly the Forest tile. Fire Emblem veterans usually position their characters on Forest tiles expecting them to be harder to hit, but there is no hit/dodge mechanic in Heroes.

Dual Attack is a mechanic introduced in Awakening, which carried over to Fates.
When 2 units are standing next to each other, both units will attack together. The other unit can still move afterwards, so Dual Attack increases the damage you can deal.

Capture is a mechanic from Thracia 776 that reappeared in Fates.
It allows your units to capture an enemy unit. You can then steal their items or force them to join your army.

Dragon Vein is a mechanic from Fates.
There are special "Dragon Vein" points on the map, which affect the map when activated.
Basically, Summoner is saying that Heroes is lacking in basic features.

If you like Heroes, you should play the real Fire Emblem games. Heroes is like a small drop of Fire Emblem diluted in tons of water.

Available for 3DS - Awakening, Fates and Echos
GBA - Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem Sacred Stones
DS - Shadow Dragon
Gamecube - Path of Radiance
Wii - Radiant Dawn
All other games before Fire Emblem GBA were japan release

What's the best game in terms of art and plot? Like cutscenes and just general visuals.

@ch19: The hardest FEH mechanic that I had to get used to was the fact that magic (tomes) only have 2 range. Tomes having 1-2 range was like second nature before then.

Both of the Radiance games are great, but I hear they are hard to get. Radiant Dawn is a direct sequel to of Path of Radiance though I don't think you have to know Path of Radiance's plot for Radiant Dawn to make sense. Also Radiant Dawn is looong (long enough that while I've gotten to the final chapter I tend to get pulled into other games before I finish it).
The Gameboy games are also good and they have good spritework, but being gba games they don't exactly have cutscenes and have a lot of talking heads to convey the plot (though they all have multiple story-lines to play).
I have heard Shadow Dragon was a poor remaster and I have to say that the level I played of it made me wonder what was going on with the art direction.
As for the 3DS titles, I haven't gotten around to playing them because I took a while to get them due to concerns about what some of the newer mechanics would do to the game balance (and a lot of obsessing over how no one has feet in them).

If you are starting out Awakening is a great game to get into the series it features the casual mode which is more forgiving to new players or so I hear the plot is great and I loved the characters, as both Radiance games are hard to find. I started out with sacred stones which is also great with a somewhat dynamic plot of split character routes of Erika and Ephraim.
