Tamaki has more plot amour than Shinra, in all honesty.
The author will never kill her off because she is Hiro Mashima's favorite character. 😄

Dat ass Tamaki. Hiro Mashima has good taste, she is my fav too. :p

Why was Adora changed to Adolla and Preacher -> Evangelist? I don't suppose anyone who translates will see this to answer but I generally wanna know.

Edit: read the next chapter so I guess that answers it... I prefer the old version to the official, but whatever.

Can't wait for Haumea (or whatever her name is) to be offed. Same for the one who can smell fire.
Actually, let's just make that 90% of the antagonist crew.

I actually find Haumea very amusing: she's an obnoxious evil brat, but she has personality. She's still evil and has to die; I'm not expecting redemption or anything.
As for Inca, I want that bitch to die a slow, boring, painless death. I hate Inca much more because she murdered her friends. As far as we know, Haumea joined up with the White Hoods as a child and treated Charon kind of like dirt but she didn't just straight-up incinerate someone she worked with because she gets off on danger. Haumea is almost comically evil.

@pajamawolfie nah haumea is not comically evil. she's just a basic crazy, pyscho character that falls flat. her character could have been more psychotic WITH direction. she's just all over the place. still can't get over the haijima arc. the plot could have been interesting and exciting but the fights were just poorly executed (not talking about the art. the art is awesome). the conclusion just felt flat. just like haumea's character.

Comically evil or not, I laugh a lot when I see her. She hams it up and causes as much mayhem as possible for the hell of it. (See that PTSD-riddled nuclear-powered kid inside the GIANT FIRE ZOMBIE? Let's piss him off!) Haijima battle royale arc was my favorite.

I mean look at this panel. Wtf Haumea?

Maybe I don't like Inca because I take Inca more seriously. Even if Haumea is a cardboard cutout, she's my cardboard cutout.

@pajamawolfie that's just my problem. her "for the hell of it" plot line is weak. that panel is just fan service for me lol but hey, if you like her, i respect it. we can agree disagree 😅😂

Yeah, not hating on you at all for not liking Haumea. These are opinions about a fictional character.

I'm having a blast reading Fire Force, but I'll admit I'm not reading it for the plot. It's a style-over substance thing for me. Still not sure why the cult's goal wanting to burn the entire earth. What's in it for them? I mean, it has something to do with religion, but that's pretty damn extreme. Yet I simply forget about that until it gets brought up again.

The Arrow fanservice panel made me go, "Why the hell would that even cross your mind, Haumea? Out of everything that's happening, you decide to rip half of Arrow's clothes off and give her a full-body vibrating massage?" It was so freaking random and cracked me up. Sidenote: Arrow looks so huggable.

Came here from the anime, which I didn't like for the first 7 or 8 episodes but ended up sitting through and having fun. It had colorful animation and good music, there was a cute badass girl with muscles and a cool hat, lots of other likeable characters, crazy fights. I hated Tamaki, but she gets a little better in the manga (it's not for several more chapters after this).

I still wouldn't whole-heartedly recommend Fire Force and insist "don't give up, it gets good after x many chapters / episodes!" It's a hit-or-miss series.

@pajamawolfie omg we're the same! i also came here after watching the anime. i loved maki so i went and read the manga after i finished the anime. the plot is also so and so for me. i also don't get the villain's plot line. i loved soul eater too. so i gave manga a chance 😁
