Wow what a ride this was. I've got more positive things to say so the one negative thing I will say is just on tamaki. Everything about her character was pretty decent apart from the 'lewd' gimmick until chapter 280. Seriously she went from decent to just terrible and not in a character sense but rather just being made a martyr to 'clap back' at people who shame fan service. Like come on dude you really should find a better character to argue the point with when her entire character was just built to be sacrificed on a nonsense talking point like that. Aside from that everything else was pretty awesome. Also the hidden references make complete sense to out right just being canonical. I enjoyed a lot of the characters especially Shira and Arthur. Of course my favorite is Ogun for obviously reasons. I felt like the pacing was pretty decent and concise for me to go through without any confusion. Overall I give this story a 7 out of a 10. Now on to the exciting part of reading soul eater.
