This manga was incredibly frustrating for me to read. But the psychological tag makes sense. The story was easy to follow at first, then I don't know what the fuck is going on anymore. Maybe I'm too simple minded to notice all the deep meanings and themes presented. Flame protagonist cool though 👍.

This series feels like it needs a review. Not really the one to do it but here a shot.

Its average at best I don’t get why it’s so highly rated. There is little character building most feel bland with one notable exception, including the MC. The world doesn’t make sense either they keep talking about not Having enough food and that the canned food will run out but they ice fish. It spends a huge amount of time talking about made up religions. Belhumag’s society makes zero sense once the founder is revealed, and those societal norms drive most of the story. The ick factor is pretty high. I feel like I wasted my time reading this.

I don't even know if I would call it mediocre.
The art is good.
None of the characters are interesting or charismatic. The worldbuilding is nonexistent.
The dialogue is bland. It doesn't have any of Chainsaw Man's humor.
There's some edgy crap here and there that doesn't add anything to the story, especially in earlier chapters.

I don't how this is the same mangaka that wrote CSM, Look Back, and Sayonara Eri because Fire Punch is significantly worse.

Pathetically edgy, juvenile garbage with horrible usages of shock value, terribly written hack story and writing, bland edgy protagonist and villains written like "Let's make almost all villains do almost every taboo just like the Crossed that makes them so interesting lol". It even makes Gantz look like a fucking masterpiece in comparison!
