@Siikalahna - I've found most clergy in Death March to be rather nice and helpful people. Including the ones on the top.
Uchi no Musume has an interesting take on priesthood.

Isekai Yururi Kikou and Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko have helpful gods, but not much visible clergy.

Sorry I can't give you better recommendations, since I am not a fan of religion, I tend to avoid the stories where they are protagonists.

@jimmyclear If a cardinal went up to my parents and asked, "Are you a wh*re? Is your husband a cheating bast*rd? Did either of you get NTR'd?" I think I would smack him. And their position in government isn't low. Though from context it seems the church has a lot of power but is quite corrupt.

I hope it doesn't go the "just the church is evil and once they are dealt with the rest of society will relatively easily accept changes" route because it isn't very realistic. Though I don't think it is the right kind of series to seriously deal with humanity oppressing other species.

Anyway I think the goddess made a poor choice in judging it this way I don't think the MC would decide humanity isn't worth continuing to exist even given reason, few humans would.

@Ibri - the goddess doesn't have to just accept MC's answer. MC will have to convince her, and her words might instead convince her otherwise.
But really, I'm hoping MC manages to fix the underlying problem in her lifetime.
