It's funny because for the Mera God, there really was (probably maybe?) a way to get around it but they literally changed the rules of the universe instead of figuring things out.

To be fair, if someone told me they used magic to alter reality for the sake of winning, I'd accept their victory solely on the fact that they were CAPABLE of pulling that kind of powerful spell in the first place.

On one hand, this has frighteningly consequences if used for more serious reasons. On the other hand, just be glad they're witches and do not have the intention of messing the order of the world if Akane had her sister with her. Let's just be glad that the change was to set of game rules which is easier to bounce back to.

Also good thing they went with Yin-Yang alteration, which always has a balance at its crux, then literal reverse-realm alteration.
