So the Light and Dark are definitely Akane and Makoto, and the child is Chinatsu. Seems like because Chinatsu comes from the "normal" world and has entered the magical one, she'll be the key to re-assimilating magic back into the world; since the hope of normal people believing in magic again has been hinted a few times. I also wonder if "10" is a reference to a new world/realm, like Norse 9 Realms but loosely basing the idea that there are different realms, and the 10 is a new one that is possible???

Interesting. The prophecy is clearly about Makoto and Akane guiding Chinatsu, but I guess the main thing to take away from it is that Chinatsu could potentially become a big deal in the future, depending on her choices. Hopefully they don't focus too much on this, as the laid-back atmosphere of this series is its main charm, but it could be foreshadowing for some more fun events in the future.

Also after re-reading the prophecy I have also concluded that it's about Akane and Makoto guiding Chinatsu.

Chinatsu was my first thought too when they were talking about a special child. It's not gonna be Makoto. But they seemed to have been talking about Makoto and those two witches she met this chapter.
