Weren't familiars supposed to be something that just takes the shape of an animal? I swear they said something like that in an earlier chapter, that Chito and Kenny weren't actually cats. Maybe Hamabe is fine since he's already a magical creature?

Well, Hamabe is something that takes the shape of a rabbit. Kinda.
Nice that he becomes a proper familiar, Chinatsu is indeed one step closer to become a full fledge witch.
Also, never noticed Akira joined them during the hand prints part ^^
