It's quite strange to say guys who can cook would be girly. The most famous master chefs in the world have been predominantly men (like the Michelin star ones). Also, among the popular TV cooks men have been more numerous. It'd be quite weird to think that if a man can only cook somewhat, he's girly, but if a woman can't cook well enough, she's lacking. Yet when a man can cook mastefully, he's highly respected. At least women who excel in cooking are also respected, though for one reason or another, they have still ways to go to gain as much fame as their male counterparts.
That being said, where I live nobody considers a man who can cook less manly. In fact you are instantly more manly if you can make "manly" food well (like a steak or smoked food).
