Well more specifically he saw the OG FL as a ray of sunshine when he lost everyone he cared about. In a way, Dylan believes that she’s not his type and that he’s more attracted to someone like her sister and the OG FL. That’s probably why she thinks he won’t ever fall for her even if the tragedy never happens.

So the grandfather only had a sons and so did the langton's that's why there was no marriage between them in the first place

Now his mother looks exactly like the grandfather but she can't be his daughter right? She'd have to be one of the sons daughters making her the granddaughter? That would make her son the great grandchild

But the ML call him grandfather instead of great grandfather plus his mom looks so young
