Seems his father is going to sympathize with him. Being forced into a way just because of his parents. Meanwhile his mother is the forceful one and won't understand

Dayum, I like that he went straight to his parents to ask and getting his opinion out.Thats nice and somehow gave me hope that his parents will understand. Also, thank you for the blazing fast releases.

_anq too OP. So many releases in such a short period of time. ?

It seems like it's rare for manga/anime people to have these conversations with their parents. I was honestly expecting they'd stay in the background without being directly confronted or treated as "real" characters. I hope it works out in the end and I wonder what Hoodie girl's family is like. Looks like she didn't have anyone to talk to, or anyone supervising her since she got locked in the school all the time.

damn this is really realistic, many parents didn't consider child feeling and just act like child is a robot and must follow whatever their career path planned

@_anq For the rail track, how about "the tracks laid out before me"? That would probably fit the imagery better.

It looked like both parents have the same room for understanding in this situation, she looked like she was surprised and maybe realized something from what he said.

A manga where people actually talk through matters without causing more misunderstandings? What is this sorcery?

Become a teacher for the parents' sake. What use do the parents have for a teacher when they are already teachers themselves? Do they want to be taught something by their son? It doesn't compute. A parent wanting a child to inherit the family business, a private business like a store, would make sense, but a school teacher is always working for someone else. It's no business to inherit, per se.
