Note, this is the 20th post on this page. If we have 20 post per page then this would be the last post on this page. My notification is pointing me to the non-existent next page. Not the first time I have run into this issue, but didn't make the connection until now. It only happens on the last (20th) post on the page.
The permalink next to the post points to the correct page, so it seems somewhat isolated to notifications.
Off-topic , but automatic links like the two above should probably preserve any horizontal whitespace that comes before them. That is, it shouldn't remove the space
