So the weird church guys we know nothing about who seem to be part of a big conspiracy that wasn´t even hinted at up until like six chapters ago (totally not an asspull!!!) are now fighting the Leatherface-knockoff with even weirder superpowers (where did they get this powers anyway? Wasn´t the explanation that the islanders got the powers from a weird magic stone that was located on the island for centuries? Then either the monks must have been to the island before to get their powers or the author forgot about that already). Are we really supposed to care about who wins?

Also does anyone remember when this was a manga about a bunch of students getting stranded on a island full of ax-crazy maniacs? Back then, I would never have guessed that it would turn into superpowered people having shounen-style fights. Wow.
