@BalrogDeMorgoth nah bro it only got religious when they revealed the eye.
Before that it was just surviving on an island with mutant killers.

@relic626 Pigman kills people as sacrifices for Zanta Maria and the family. He's even called these people sacrifices early in the story. The MC's group encountered a mass grave of corpses, each crucified on a cross. In response to the sight, the overweight club president mentioned a spooky myth about a group of Christian missionaries gone insane. The first chapter is called "Sacrifice" and the third chapter is called "The Island Which God Abandoned." The group took in the asshole father mutant, and iirc the guy mentioned his powers being a gift from God. Later on Zanta Maria came into the picture, and then sometime after the eye came in the picture. This manga was already setting itself up for a religious horror theme, but it certainly didn't execute it well.

@Ominous yes but those were all underlying plot devices overshadowed by the mysterious killer and their sudden need for survival.
And like i said everything only got religious when they introduced the eye's power.
