I love this art style. It's visceral and exaggerated with its expressions, but it makes it feel more real. The tears leaking out from under their H.U.D. visors, their lips swelling and warping in rage even the simple variety in the faces we've seen thus far, even in the background characters.

But above all else, the mechas. They have none of what I just described, they're just perfect lines and curves of joints and armor plating. It's weirdly enthralling.

Whatever they did to him, he knows how to use it, but he still isn't invincible... this is a veteran who has used skill, experience, and plenty of luck to reach this point.
