It was really good, but man does it feel like he had to ignore Part 1 for Part 2 to work. So much wackiness mixed in with heart-wrenching love and pain. It had potential to be a true masterpiece.

It felt like they had to pretend the first memory looping Hasebe to make the second one (or I assume is a second one, as the home is different) allow him to live like he wanted to. It's a great story, but the comparison to 50 First Dates really waters down the pain, especially from Part 1.

I loved this overall. It had plenty of happiness and pain in the same breath. Wonderful work, but not flawless. I will hold this story in a special place in my butt-shaped thing.
