Why is the author making it so hard on us to have the girl admit she is lesbian? It's been really obvious since some chapters ago that that is what is going on with the girl....but well there wouldn't be drama if they just found the answer just like that right?

In Japan same sex relationships are stigmatized more then being transgender. So it's like admiting your going to be discriminated against.

the watermelon ramen thing is normal, chilled noodles have things like apples, watermelons and other fruits stuff on it all the time

It's not what I should be taking from this chapter, but that plated parfait seems like it would be a pain to eat. Like, that's annoying me more than the watermelon ramen and Koto's behavior. There's a reason why they are in tall cup bowls! Otherwise you have to eat quickly before the ice cream starts melting everywhere. You can't even scoop up a portion of the toppings at the same time once it does that!
