Ooh, that is an interesting take. I was also wondering what is causing people to become corrupted. Especially in a place where all the people are supposedly pure, what c old cause tainting? Is it an internal change, or is there an external catalyst? Beyond that, what constitutes as purity?

I stopped reading this 30 chapters ago. Is he not done revenging yet? It seems like he's not longer getting revenge on any one person in particular but is instead going full Kira.

His personal revenge should have been finished chapters ago, starting from his torturer even with the deities who decided his soul was worth crap to think about.

At this point, I think he wants to revenge and purge every nations that wronged his family and/or inner circle.
