Victoria is pitiable in this scenario ngl. Her actions are influenced by gods and her emotions twisted.

This was when she was little though, gotta see how she got manipulated later on by the goddess of love, and I'm not even sure if this is real or they pull a "and that's how we're going to rewrite her"

Because Victoria is just that hated? I think people just want to move on from her already as they don't care and don't see her redeemable but the author/creator says "using imagination" they feel Victoria hate is unjustified and had planned for her to be mc love interest and that the gods interfered with them both "imagination intensify" and hates the fact "Theodora" is the fan favorite and they had no intention of her and mc being together, so I'm going to make a redemption arc for her and show my readers why SHE is best girl and not that demon girl "imagination ends"

I guess the creator/author spent so much time building up everyone's hatred for Victoria and for the mc to get satisfactory W against her only for the author to now say no she was innocent and was manipulated into doing this... she's as much as a victim as mc is.

Seems alot of people dislike this arc even on different websites this manga is on at this point the author could just be trolling the fanbase and will say "no everything in this flashback is real... fans be damned I don't care for your opinions on MY story Victoria x mc 🥰"

Meanwhile the fans 🤬 lol.

Yet again, not everyone can forgive a murderer because the have a sad past, would you forgive a person who killed your sister if he told you he was manipulated into doing so?

Even if some people would genuinely forgive, I would not be able to do so.

Imagine your little sister killed your mother because she was possessed by god himself. Maybe she did say "I hate you, mom" in a childish tantrum once. Who do you actually hate more here, your sister or god? Do you expect her to be stronger than the big boss himself? Or does she deserve to die horribly just for the murder that was out of her control?

It's not the case of a "sad past", it's manipulation through magic and the gods. Do you expect humans that aren't the isekai main protagonist to just bitch slap beings that are way more powerful?

Jesus, man, this flashback has lived rent free in my head since it started. The scenes of her getting poisoned, trying to dance with everyone, making a deal with this evil god, and the ghosts of her mother and the previous queen trying but failing to protect her. IDK why, probably because I am the father of a little girl, but this arc is haunting me in a way few manga arcs manage.
