I wonder what form of torture he’ll have in store for them in the next chapter. lol
Which dude? You might be referring to Raoul's brother-in-law, who probably isn't here because he's not actually one of the mages in this group. He's just someone who helped them get the sacrifices for the zombie resurrection magic together.is it just me or was there an extra dude with familiar hair whose face wasnt shown in some of those panels
FWIW, he said "real--", not "real body". The black magic the mage here was doing a few chapters back (ch 94) used human sacrifices, and with how he keeps talking about how that magic paired "soul and flesh", I assume that the corpses here are created from that ritual. So it would be Raoul's sister's real soul dragged from the afterlife, tied to a combination of sacrificed corpses, and the same thing with the other villagers.So... they used the sister´s real body... was there enough body to do that?, also the boy soldiers, they died while transformed. If all of them are the real bodies, you have to appreciate the work, getting as much as possible of the sister and mother´s corpses, untransform the boy soldiers, move them to the kingdom... man, they did the job, i have to give them that... well, now is just a mater of time before the mages realize that they are in an illusion themselves
Raoul:"Since when are you under the impression I do not know they are corpses?"he probably knows that they are corpses
Doesn't really sound like Raoul's style, im almost willing to bet he's had the illusion dispelled from the very first few seconds, and has just been going along with the silly corpse party, because those really are his loved ones in the end, and some zombification is of no relevance to him.FWIW, he said "real--", not "real body". The black magic the mage here was doing a few chapters back (ch 94) used human sacrifices, and with how he keeps talking about how that magic paired "soul and flesh", I assume that the corpses here are created from that ritual. That'd also explain a bit of how Raoul's so willing to go along with the illusion, if it was just corpses pretending to be his family he'd probably be a lot more put off by it. But instead it seems to be his actual family, just inside rotting corpses (which is conveniently illusion'd away for him).
