@ninjazz There has been a noticeable descent into wanting to add "fun" into the torture by offering hope and taking it away for sure.
But whether he's gone down to the level of the monsters who created him, I think we will see soon. So far it has been people with individual guilt of decidedly evil things, with the weakest case being that perhaps some low-level scientists were actually "just following orders".
But this is a village that maybe just didn't dare to let people who looked like monsters in. And even if the decision-makers knew they were soldiers, knew they were no longer dangerous and knew that water would save them - does this mean that everyone in the village is culpable? Women? Children?
So basically, whether he kills everyone in the village or not would be my litmus test for whether he's gone off the edge or not.
